How do I add a receipt?
On the Receipts tab, tap + at the bottom right: “Photograph receipt”, “From photos” or “PDF file”. You can also share a photo from the Photos app to CheckMe. For spending without a receipt, choose “No receipt”.
Can I photograph several receipts at once?
Yes. Lay them side by side: CheckMe finds each receipt in the photo and saves them separately.
What does “Needs review” mean?
The items did not add up to the total, even after a second reading. Open the receipt and check the marked lines, or tap “Recognise again”. CheckMe marks such receipts instead of guessing.
A product is in the wrong category. How do I fix it?
Tap the item and choose another category. CheckMe remembers your choice and uses it for this product from then on.
Which receipts does CheckMe read?
Receipts from supermarkets, drugstores, bakeries and markets in Germany and Austria: photos, screenshots and PDF. Ukrainian receipts are not supported yet.
Which languages does the app speak?
Ukrainian, German and English. The app follows the language of your iPhone; to change it for CheckMe alone, use the iOS Settings app. Product names are translated only when the receipt is in another language.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Receipts, photos, the shopping list and statistics are stored on your iPhone. Delete a single receipt with its photo in the receipt itself, or everything at once under Settings → Data. Deleting the app also deletes its data.
How do I export my receipts?
In Settings, under Data: as a CSV spreadsheet (opens in Numbers and Excel) or as a JSON file.
Which devices does CheckMe work on?
iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Recognition on the device with Apple Intelligence needs iOS 27.
